Seemed like these guy's were the punk rock of the 90's. I remember trying to get into an overpacked room at the NAMM show. They did sound great in the hallway though. They are a true working band.

This 1976 cut by the mostly-white Oakland funk band is one of my favorites by them, and features Edward McGhee singing over their ultra-staccato arrangement. Most of their albums had beautiful cover images.
