Don't know a terrible lot about these guys. Seems they might be a bunch of hippies from Asheville, NC, but I do enjoy their take on West African music. Lots of Ngoni. I read on Wikipedia that their name - Toubab Krewe - means foreign crew, with the crew borrowed from the New Orleans krewes.
