WOW! I guess I overshot my anniversary! One year. Time flies when your having so much fun! It's been like one long Rock N' Roll year long party! ...Today, back in 1949 Tom Waits came into the world that's right, it's old "Gravelly-Groans'" birthday...I got turned onto him years ago when I heard him do the voice of Tommy the Cat on Primus' Seas of Cheese LP; when I got out here and started diving into Rickie Lee Jones' work...I didn't cotton to his tunes initially but after being in town for more than a decade he's grown on me,seems the characters in his songs were walking all around me at one point or another...Rhi... It's seldom that you see such compatibility between the interviewer and interviewee. Interviews like this can easier go pear shaped if either party looses interest or the interviewer can't think on his feet – let alone putting wit and charisma on table.
