Thomas Alan Waits (born December 7, 1949) is an American singer-songwriter, composer, and actor. Waits has a distinctive voice, described by one critic as sounding "like it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months and then taken outside and run over with a car." A year ago tomorrow is my Mogoversary. Chances are I will be doing a million things and not have a chance to post, so I must take advantage of it today.

1Am I alone here or is the Wire one of the best shows ever made? I was and still am a fan of Homicide Life on The Street, and see The Wire as the logical follow up to the shoe. Homicide was great at using then current Music on the show, and when you look back at the early years you pick up that there were more than a few Grunge fans on the writing staff.
