Am I alone here or is the Wire one of the best shows ever made? I was and still am a fan of Homicide Life on The Street, and see The Wire as the logical follow up to the shoe. Homicide was great at using then current Music on the show, and when you look back at the early years you pick up that there were more than a few Grunge fans on the writing staff.
