About 2 years ago my 4 year old son Freddy pulled my vinyl copy of Swordfishtrombones off the shelf and handed it to me. He and I had been exploring some of my music together - kid-friendly stuff like the Everly Brothers, Doc Watson, and early Beatles - and enjoying every rockin' minute of it. Ahhhh Shhhiiizzzztttiiittt!!!Tom Waits is going on tour!! I'm getting tickets where ever I can and buying a plane ticket!!!! A very funny & true story: I was dating a girl when I first moved to SF 8 years ago. Her aunt met Tom Waits when she was working on Bram Stoker's Dracula (Tom Played R.M. Renfield).
