This is my first post on mog. i want to thank andrew french for telling me about this...sort of.I will start this out by getting right to the music. The first band i think you should know about is Thunderbirds Are Now! If you haven't heard them yet, i feel you should let the tunes flow from ryan allen's rickenbacker into your ears. So Thunderbirds are Now! are pretty rockin. There songs, especially 'Better Safe than Safari' and 'Cobra Feet' have great driving beats, and, like The Go! Team and Tilly and the Wall, they just want to make you sing along! There such fun songs. BTW the artist guy's name is Henry Darger. Became very famous posthumus artist. Hello.
We're not sure what a MOG is, but it rhymes with PROG, so it's good enough for us.
Right now we're just awaiting patiently for our new album, "Make History", to be released October 3rd on Frenchkiss Records. We're also taking up surfing lessons and learning how to speak to eachother in only sign language, so we can save our voices while on tour.

So the latest band that I've decided is awesome is Thunderbirds Are Now! I'd describe their sound as electro dance punk, or something like that. Actually, the best description I've heard of them is caffeinated rock. They've got a lot of energy in their songs. They remind me of Hot Hot Heat in some ways. Check 'em out.
