Carl Jordan, the man behind California imprint, The Western States Motel is set to release a brand new EP, Painted Birds Flying in the Orange Mirror Sun. Relying on a similar range of garage sale guitars and thrift store keyboards that colored his debut, this new 5-song EP was recorded in the comfortable confines of Jordan's Los Angeles home. What a great time to be living Los Angeles! The indy music scene here is on fire with some really great sounds.
