Yesterday the mrs an'I decided to hike around some of the cross-country ski trails around here. They are carved out for the forrests around here by the state through the backwoods. There are cisterns scattered about which are usually filled with water and serve to provide back-up water supplies should there ever be forrest fires. These little man made ponds and pondlets become dynamic little eccosystems in themselves. Frogs, salamanders, snakes and turles thrive.But its be... MORE
