The Thermals, formed in 2002 (see also 2002 in music), are a punk rock band from Portland, Oregon on the label Sub Pop Records. The group is currently made up of Hutch Harris (vocals and guitar), Kathy Foster (bass), and Lorin Coleman (drums). Original guitarist Ben Barnett (of Kind of Like Spitting fame) left shortly after More Parts per Million was released in 2003, reverting guitar duties back to Hutch. MOG is a truly beautiful & wonderful thing as are all it's inhabitants, citizens, and ambassadors.
Here's to all of you who have introduced to me to the sweetest new music and unearthed the classic once forgotten gems.
The music I've discovered on MOG is music I wouldn't want to be without - life saving and life changing.
