The Thermals, formed in 2002 (see also 2002 in music), are a punk rock band from Portland, Oregon on the label Sub Pop Records. The group is currently made up of Hutch Harris (vocals and guitar), Kathy Foster (bass), and Lorin Coleman (drums). Talking to some of my friends and family about my impending move to California is sometimes like banging my head up against a wall. They just can't imagine that are other ways to live your life that don't entail minivans and bingo nights. As i checked my calendar I realized that the Hold Steady/Thermals double bill that I am going to is on March 17th...St Patrick's Day...It will be be bad.
