All Music GuideSwirling out of the Canadian north, the Tea Party swoops down on you like a blizzard, and Transmission sounds like it's at the center of the storm. Sounding a lot like a Nine Inch Nails of the north, the Tea Party pulses and grooves along with such cuts as "Temptation," "Army Ants" and the title tune. This trio manages to come up with just enough hooks to keep the listening interesting without sacrificing their sound. Full of hard rock thrust with industrial edge, give Transmission by the Tea Party a try. You just might come away with a new respect for those snowy days.
