The Shout Out Louds released their great sophomore album Our Ill Wills via Merge back in September. The Band are making their way across North America for the first time in two years since promoting their debut breakthrough album Howl Howl Gaff Gaff.

This record happens. Not sure if that is how the Shout Out Louds arrived at their sound or not, but as I listened to this album, all's I heard was the Cure. Not saying that is an entirely bad thing...the album doesn't break into any uncharted sonic territory or anything, but its a good record. I guess the moral of the story is that if you are going to heavily lean on an 80's band for your sound, you could do worse than the Cure...they could have locked themselves in a hous... MORE
