...so I got another editing offer downtown that'd last a few months...but first I had to go down there and take a bunch of tests...find synonyms for words like arbitrate...expedite...ameliorate...words I use all the time...then the grammar test (even when I didn't have the English skills, I learned the best way to figure these out-- utter them aloud...continued on Chronicles of Ridicule...

On My Radio (1979). .If you saw The Specials in 79/80, their label mates, The Selecter where supporting them. Formed in Coventry, England, in the late 1970s they became one of the essential bands of the British ska movement..The name of the band is a reference to the Jamaican word for a music selecter, known elsewhere as the DJ. ..."the oooold mix on a main page trick" as Don Adams would've said to Barbara Feldon on Get Smart: one of the reasons I loathed myspace so much was how intrusive the music on people's landing page would get; once you clicked onto one, you'd get cracked in the wig with whatever tune/ sound clip that that particular person was vibing on at the time...variety is the spice of life, self expression and all that but I've begun to notice that as these new-fangled MP3 flashplayer...
