I heard this song again last weekend... I’m at the Bonfire on SE Stark. Maybe I’ve had three beers or four. Light beers. Pabst or Miller High Life. The cheaper special. I’m sitting on a stool in the billiard room. I’m only watching. A guy and a girl are playing eight ball. So I'm reading a Hendrix bio when all of a sudden out pops another classic Keith story...apparently after Keith's girlfriend at the time Linda Keith "discovered" Hendrix in a seedy midtown club and tried bring him to the attention of none other than Andrew Loog Oldham.....Oldham, though acknowledging Hendrix's talent, passed up on him becuase: "Keith was the kind of guy who might actually kill someone involved with his girlfriend" You gotta love this stuff!!
