One of my favorite Stones' tracks. I had been wanting to post some live video of this, but after intermittent youtube searches and some research I now realize the band didn't actually play this live until 2002 and I'd rather not subject you to some recent Stones footage. And that's no offense intended boys...just the coolness meter ain't quite what it once was (...and I realize I just wrote that as if Mick and Keith swing by my MOG page from time to time -- which they do... In _the Stones: The Acclaimed Biography_, author Philip Norman boldly stated that Jumpin' Jack Flash was "undisputedly the Stones' best performance on record." Heres another little tribute video I put together for one of my favorite directors: Martin Scorsese. I may redo it and add some more clips later on.
Incidentally, Martin Scorsese is working on a new documentary film about The Rolling Stones called "Shine A Light". Cant wait to see it! I loved the Bob Dylan doc No Direction Home too.
