All Music GuideNot a concept album -- a first for the Residents -- and, as the liner notes point out, certainly not a greatest-hits package, as most of middle America have never even heard of the Residents, much less heard their music -- and would probably never care to. This is just a well-chosen collection of 13 tracks from the first five Residents albums with two bonus tracks tossed in for good measure -- "The Spot," a collaboration with fellow Ralph artist and frequent cohort Snakefinger that was only available on 45 at the time, and "Santa Dog '78," a previously unreleased tidbit with a distinctly warped holiday flavor.
