Just to show fans that they had not gone totally serious after the release of their epic Eskimo, they soon turned around and released a disco version of the main themes of the album, making fun of the waning years of the disco craze, but, also -- possibly -- bravely trying to claim any genre their own, as long as they tweak it their way. Surprisingly, it works rather well, with the theme from "Festival of Death" turning into a very catchy bassline. The B-side of the original was the rather marginal "Goosebump," a suite of four songs taken from nursery rhymes that only demonstrates that not everything makes a good Resident track. The 1992 release on Torso removed "Goosebump" (which was now part of the Duck Stab CD) and added two tracks from Residue of the Residents and a live version of "Diskomo" from the 13th anniversary show.
