Jack vs. White

I've discovered that I have rather mixed feelings about Jack White. For some reason, I love some of his music, but am totally nonplussed about the rest. I think I finally realised why. Jack, the accoustic guitar player and live perforemer is amazing. On the other side, Mr. White, the highly polished, well-produced, heavily sound engineered recording artist only generates yawns.
