With the June 24th release of the groundbreaking Pixies album "Doolittle" on Rock Band, a little internet stir has arisen. Hey, you can stay all day, if you want to?
This song is usually the quickest way to feeling great after a day of feeling stretched thin. It is also my favorite Pixies song, which is a bold statement, because it is damn hard to narrow that down to one. Such a great band.
Don't know what it is, but I can't get enough of "Debaser" lately. I've been playing it over and over and over and over. . .
Alright. I admit it. Despite going to college from 1986 to 1990, I completely missed out on any music that involved Pixies, the Deal sisters and Frank Black. (I also was unaware of who The Replacements were until just years ago. My college station was rather nonexistent.) I'd honestly never listened to Pixies' "Doolittle" or "Surfer Rosa" albums until just recently. Can you ever forgive me?
