All Music GuideThe Ocean Blue's first album without keyboardist Steve Lau is something of a breakthrough record, with the bouncy pop single "Sublime" finding its way on to Billboard's modern rock charts. Leaving behind the mellow minimalism of their first two records, the Pennsylvanians gave their ethereal music a brighter, glossier sheen on this record -- sounding a good deal like Morrissey without the mordant wit.
