can you tell i'm going through a bit of a phase? maybe global warming and state-of-the-nation's got me hammering for a hunk of soulthis song conjures up some really strong feelings for me. growing up in new york. summertime as a kid. not sure why, as i was probably 5 or 6 years old when this came out. perhaps there was mental osmosis whilst older brother & sister watched soultrain.
