Mixtape impresarios Mick Boogie and Terry Urban are back with their latest project, this time crossing The Noisettes with Kanye West to create Wild Young Heartbreaks. Kanye's notorious auto-tune album couldn't be more different from The Noisettes' lead singer Shingai's definitively classic vocals, but they somehow make for a harmonious combination.

The Noisettes – Never Forget YouThe Noisettes’ latest album, Wild Young Hearts, has been a real slow burner for me, slowly creeping into my conscience with its great tunes that just take you back in time and feel all summery. This is their latest single, Never Forget You, along with a live version they did [...]
The first 2007 release that I've liked so far (Arcade Fire awaits a careful listen), What's The Time Mr. Wolf by the British band Noisettes is an inventive, tight, and pleasantly off-kilter post-punk-soul album. It's their debut, and a little uneven in song material, but quite promising and fun. The vocalist has been compared to Karen O, and the band runs the gamut from Gang Of Four to The Bell...
A collection of thoughts that have absolutely nothing to do with one another.~ The new Placebo album is, after all, so boring that I cancelled my pre-order. Likewise for the new Maximo Park, minus the preorder factor. All hopes now fall on Arctic Monkeys. No pressure.~ Never let the dyslexic one type the album sticker:Consider the rhythm upset...(nice album tho)~ It's becoming increasingly hard...
Excitement! While quietly perusing the websites of artists past that I dearly missed, I came across a new MySpace blog post from The Noisettes . Turns out they've just posted a snippet of their new single on their page, called "Wild Young Hearts." It's pretty classic Noisettes work: Hand-claps, crashing drum beats, and killer guitar riffs and vocals by Ms. Shoniwa . Click here to go to band'...
