very few bands have an effect on me emotionally but as i was driving back from athens georgia a couple days ago i put in a CD of assorted songs by the Mountain Goats that my friend and fellow mogger jen gave me. i was driving (extremely slowly due to traffic) through some form of hellish weather when the song no children came on. ive been horribly depressed ever since. i kept listening to the track over and over and then i started really listening to the lyrics of other so... man. lately i've been crazy busy. and it's not even like i've DONE a lot, i've just ...been out a lot. for instance, last night we smoked and then played hacky-sack. you know, that game with the bean bag ball thing that you hit with your feet? we sucked. and then we played rummy. and considered risk, but none of us know how to play and we'd smoked too much to learn anything new at that point. ugh. i can't believe i have to work. not only is my presence here com...
