All Music GuideA four-song EP that was originally issued in a limited edition in France in 1965 by Vogue Records, Almost Grown is hardly essential to the Lovin' Spoonful canon, although it's always nice to hear a version of the Chuck Berry title tune, and the Spoonful's rendition of Leiber & Stoller's "Searchin'" has a fun feel, but again, none of these four tracks will change anyone's opinion of anything.
