AMG Review of Once and Never Again
Jack Rabid
All Music GuideThe EP's A-side is a pitiable choice -- the least of the eight new LP tracks from 2007's Someone to Drive You Home that hadn't already appeared on other import singles like this one -- but the B-side "Five Ways to End It" makes wily use of '80s disco/Krautrock via Talking Heads (a new wrinkle), while singer Kate Jackson's lyrics frame a cheeky reminder of Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" without name rhyming. There's also a video for the A-side.
