Gangsta rap artist/actor Ice-T produced this great album for his Rhyme Syndicate record label and he personally chose many of the best movie themes from the Blaxploitation genre. The CD opens with the soulful title theme to "Across 110th Street" (1971) sung by Bobby Womack. It is a song describing life on the hard streets of NYC.
