The Hush Sound's new album came out today. After listening to it one and a half times I think it's pretty decent. Not sure if it's better than Like Vines, but it's got some good stuff.
This is the first single of the album, and a good example of how they sound their best when the piano and guitar both receive ample attention:

is all i have to say about the hush sound. The hush sound got there start beacause of Ryan Ross who recomended them to pete wentz. I think that the hush sound would have made it just as big without him but it sure helped. This is the kind of band that converts poor helpless emo children into clean cut indie kids.

so this is by far my favorite song that they have released so far. its almost up to par with my second favorite wine red but not quite. there is something about this song that just gets into my head and i find myself singing it all day long. absolutely amazing

So I noticed that this band really hasn't had a site created for them anywhere accept Myspace and they should because they are pretty amazing. It is like throwing Fall Out Boy, Flyleaf, and PANIC! At The Disco in a blender and flipping the switch to puree. With amazing vocals and a sound that is there own I would recommend them to all.

So I'm fairly intoxicated right now from a few beers on an empty stomach (more bang for my buck!) while putting in overtime at work. I was given this album last night and have already listened to it through 4 times. It's good. Really good. From the first few tracks, this album sucks you in setting an overall album tone. It's upbeat, but pleasantly relaxed due to the fantastic vocals and wonderful harmony throughout each song. The large range in instrumental composition and the use of both male(Bob Morris) and female(Greta Salpeter) vocals throughout the album keep each song fresh and distinctly differ... MORE
