Went to see The Hazey Janes at the Metro Nightclub and Discotheque last night. On spec, just saw it in the music listings in thelondonpaper. Described as power pop with hints of country and folk. Didn't detect the hints but no matter as they were fantastic.Support was a three-piece called The Stoners if I heard correctly. They were good.
