Here are a couple of videos from one of my favorite bands right now: The Packway Handle Band. They're from Athens, GA so I get to see 'em all the time here at the Georgia Theatre. I'm so grateful that I get to see them around here so often because I have a sneaking suspicion that they are going to blow up soon. I've been kind of turned off by the line up SuperFly has scheduled at Bonnaroo for the past few years. But this year's 'Roo looks to be off the chain like freed slaves. Unparalleled are the headliners...The Police, TOOL, and WSP. Bringing the reunited Police's tour to Bonnaroo is going to be electric. So the past two times I've gotten an absolute itch to see a show, I've gotten lucky - The Wailers were coming, and then Badfish, and I was sated for awhile. Now, I've got that urge again (less than 2 weeks later, which isn't bad, considering that when I was younger and richer I averaged 2 per week) and this time, NOBODY COOL IS COMING. All weekend.
