If have been following my mog, lo this year and almost a half I have jabbering away at you, there are two bands that most likely stick out a groups that I keep taking about... Radio Birdman and The Forbidden Dimension.. It's been 10 years since their last full length release, 1997's Widow's Walk after which the then current line up had called it quits. I am currently awaiting my copy of the new Forbidden Dimension LP to arrive. This is my most anticipated record of the year, and what I have heard so far I really really really really dig... I hope it arrives before Halloween... if not, I might just send the angry mob in the picture for the LP release show to the doorstep of Saved by Vinyl (who released the record).... of course I could download the album for $8.88 here ... if you want to check the album out all three of ... I'm not talking about Johnny Rotten here. I'm talking about the weather today...it's October, dadgummit and it's going to be darn near 90 degrees out this weekend! Outrageous. I always look forward to October as it's the start of my favorite part of the year, the cold season. I dig cool weather, overcast skys, rain, snow and all that follows with it. October is still a couple of weeks off, and I hope the new album by Horror Rockers The Forbidden Dimension as well (I hope), but as a tease the band has added the title track for their up coming album Cool Sounds outta Hell on their Myspace Page here . So alll 8k songs on my iTunes have been indexed, but two of my fave groups haven't shown up on my music collection list: Forbidden Dimension and Jet Black Berries (along with their early incarnation New Math) aren't listed.... mean while The Jaks a group that I went to High School with showed up? to quote Radio Birdman What Gives?... is there a way to enter bands that have yet to be indexable? After having giving it a lot of thought I have to say that my favorite album of all time is the second one by the Horror/ Psychotronic Rock band The Forbidden Dimension. It's simply the most well rounded album that I can think of. Musically it runs the gambit of style, you have punk tunes, metal tunes, rockabilly tinged tunes, and intros songs. The record has a flow and drive that keeps it moving forward, but it never seems forced, or fake or anything but a great rocking b... MORE
