When The Essex Green comes to town, buy new shoes, order a drink you can't pronounce. Music to roll in the grass to (or maybe roll grass to?). Sunny psychedelia.You can't go wrong with any Essex Green album. This track is from their first, Everything Is Green (1999) but both The Long Goodbye (2003) and The Cannibal Sea (2006) are grand too. Here's some footage from last summer in Spain.

Found a new band that I am digging

I heard these guys on XM radio and they grew on me pretty quick. I even signed up for the free trial of Emusic so I could download their cd Cannibal Sea. Alot of people say their music pays tribute to the psychedelic era of the 60's, but to me they have a unique sound that is very addictive. I found them to be a nice change of pace from the usuall ho-hum that you hear on the radio.Two thumbs...
