This past weekend I found myself having those delightful spine tingling feelings of hearing new music that rubs your ears in all the right ways. First off Marigold's post on The Radio Dept. set me off in a listening spree to catch up on what I missed from them. Then The Epochs came into my weekend and suddenly I was torn between the two. If you went to, read about, or were anywhere near the CMJ Festival last week, you probably feel that you're totally up to speed on all that is broadly defined as "indie rock." But before you pat yourself on the back for knowing who Dragons of Zynth are, you should consider the fact there are a few bands that didn't make it into the myopic view of the blogosphere.
