Now that their troublesome relationship with Jive Records is now over, The Clipse are looking to finally release new music in a timely fashion via Columbia. On August 5th the guys will release the long awaited Re-Up Gang album, which is a compilation featuring all the artists on their label. Following up yesterday's news of 50 Cent giving away a mixtape of all new material on his website yesterday, The Clipse have done the exact same thing. "We Got It For Cheap Volume 3" popped up on The Clipse' official blog last night for our listening pleasure. Unlike 50 Cent, fans of the Clipse aren't required to sign up for anything in order to take their free copy.

Malice and Pusha-T are back with a different sound on "Fast Life". The song has just a pinch of westcoast funk in it which is different from the gritty/space-y stuff they usually get from The Neptunes.
Their new untitled album will feature productin from Timbaland, Danjahandz, and The Hitmen. Be on the lookout for that.

The Clipse have been trying to get off of Jive Records for years, and things seemed to have improved in 2006 where the label and group came to an agreement (grudgingly). Their sophomore album was finally released and horribly marketed and mismanaged by Jive. The record company dropping the ball on "hell hath no fury" was the last straw, and The Clipse are reportedly pulling out all the stops to be released from their contract. This, to me is better than anything I've ever heard from the clipse (This makes lord willin look like nursery rhymes). Maybe it's because I am from Virginia, I love the neptunes beats, or maybe I am a future coke dealer but this album, Donuts, Kingdom Come, and Food and Liquor are by far the illest hip hop albums I have heard all year (I am sure "Hip Hop Is Dead" by Nas will be just as good if not better though :-D). I must say everytime I hear The Clipse, they sound bette... MORE
