With Mick Jones, once of The Clash, guesting with Alabama 3 at SXSW it just seemed like a good time to remind ourselves just how great the music of The Clash is. So here's a fave song, "London Calling."

...also known as Joe Strummer (i.e., The Clash) ... who, unfortunately, exited the planet four years ago today.
The Clash were a hugely influential band for me in my musically formative years. London Calling was, and still is, a phenomenal album, a classic ... I know my life would not be the same had I never been exposed to it. Just wanted to put it out in the mogos: Thanks, and RIP Joe!
