... but I just removed Mew's "The Zookeeper's Boy" from my MySpace profile. I know, I know, what am I thinking, right? I can't help it, this song, and its angular riffs, bullied me into it.

Yup, that's what I'm wondering. Because I was watching the Dutch MTV Brand New recently, and suddenly I saw a clip of the song "Break" by The Cinematics, a band I've been following since I first saw them live in April, 2006 and that is about to release their debut album very soon. And I was overjoyed, turned the volume up, and ever since then I'm hoping the clip comes up when watching MTV. But isn't that crazy? I mean, I can watch the clip whenever I want and I can liste... There I am, a young man, standing in a sold out Vredenburg in Utrecht (not like that's saying much, as, quite frankly, it's not the most prestigious venue around).
