There doesn't seem to be any middle ground on this one. Some absolutely love it, some detest it. I like the minimalist take but the vocal seems too cool/detached.Pod was the debut of The Breeders. Kim Deal (of the Pixies) and Tanya Donnelly (of Throwing Muses) were feeling somewhat stifled in their respective bands and wanted to branch out. I damn almost forgot it was Sunday, so here we go peoples, and oh by the way yeah a big welcome back if you please for Dale, and his sis, Anna without whom Mog just wouldn't be Mog. Oh yeah, the cover. Probably the best cover of a Beatles song I have heard. Ever. Really. I can hardly believe it myself, what, with all the multitudinous covers of Scrambled Eggs and Something that are floating around out there, but yeah. it is.
