Recently MOG news reported about a tech recycling program that The Beastie Boys have implemented at their live shows. It must be working out pretty well, because in addition to adding more dates to their nearly-sold-out tour, thus giving us more opportunities to recycle our old cell-phones PDA's etc, the trio is also taking their eco-game to the next level.For starters, the band will donate $1 from each ticket sale to an EcoFund. I hope the Beastie Boys aren't getting tired of guitars, drums, and bass already. They have posted more tour dates on their schedule and a few are labeled as an "Exclusive Instrumental Show." Meanwhile, I received a press release today that proclaims the shows in August will "feature Beastie Boys in all their traditional hip hop glory!"
