The Anniversary, an indie rock band formed in Lawrence KS, were active in 1997-2004. (Three of its members went on to found The Only Children.) They released the albums Designing a Nervous Breakdown (2000) and Your Majesty (2002), and a notably good split EP with Superdrag (2001).
