The Who @ LA Orpheum -- WOW!

Artist:
Album:
Track:
Free music video of 5:15 (2)
Yup, fellow mogger Vroomster and I attended an private show thrown by the makers of Rock Band that featured a "very special guest" as it said on the ticket. There were rumors of The Who playing but I didn't think that was possible. First I thought it would be someone playing a Who song on Rock Band. Then I thought maybe they will do a couple tunes. But after the first few tunes I knew this was going to go the distance. It was 2 1/2 hours of great Who songs. Lots of their... MORE

I stopped over at Hype Machine and checked out the most popular tunes currently circulating the blog-o-sphere...and it was not time well spent. It's one thing to have a thousand remixes of the... MORE

The Who were immortalized for VH1 Honors this past weekend at UCLA's Pauley Pavillion in L.A. The Who's lead singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend closed out the show with some of their greatest hits. Late band members John Entwistle, and Keith Moon were remembered in pre-taped retrospectives. "I have had a life of absolut... MORE
