Blog post image preview ..I recently watched an amazing documentary on the brilliant Frida Kahlo. ....with this fresh in my mind, I fired up the iPod, popped the earbuds in... and flipped on The Minders' masterwork, FRIDA. .I proceeded to listen to that song, non-stop until I finished this piece of art... It's a completely impressionistic piece... I didn't work off of photos or anything... and it probably doesn't look too much like her... but the music completely fed the drive to complete it..I w... This tune is very 60s pop influenced. Just a really great infectious pop tune by The Minders, an indie band from the Northwest. I think WMRoyce would dig this.
