Hey, check it out! I'm posting a song that's not 15 years old. Hell, this is so recent it almost qualifies as new. The song is Burn Your Life Down by Tegan & Sara, from their most recent "The Con." I like every song I've heard from this album so far; I may have to break down and go buy it. Next up, I'll post Back in Your Head, another song from "The Con."

(sigh) Time for yet another school year. People have been telling me this year (junior year) will be the worst year of my life. My principal has become somewhat if not a complete nazi when it comes to electronic devices. Yes, that means no cellphones, ipods, cd players of any kind in the building EVEN BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL. Recently, while attending an amazing concert on July 29, something dawned on me during the final performance by The Roots. I went to the concert mainly to see The Dears, Apostle of Hustle, and The New Pornographers, but in the end I actually didn't enjoy them as much as Tegan & Sara, and The Roots. Why on earth would I enjoy bands that I don't actually like overtop of bands I do? Well, the reason for this is simple, showmanship and a relationship with the audience. Murray ... MORE

Canadian singer-songwriters and identical twins Tegan & Sara are embarking on a huge late fall tour in support of their new album The Con. The album is so new, it’s not out yet. The sibs fifth studio full-length, produced by Death Cab For Cutie guitarist Chris Walla, reaches stores on July24th.
