This past Halloween TV Casualty, a Misfits tribute band led by Ted Leo, took to the stage for a couple sets of songs at a show in Philadelphia. Ted Leo dusted off his skeleton gloves, slicked down his devilock and played the part of Danzig all night. The world's best Misfits cover band? I recommend watching all of them. Here are just a couple of the videos from the show.

So I was at work yesterday when a friend told me that Ted Leo was playing a free acoustic set at 30 Rock. Since I work around the corner from the House of Tina Fey, I obviously was going to be there no matter what. The performance was, however, not at your typical venue. In [...]
With the mid-term elections less than two weeks away I feel...nervous/excited/anxious/determined/all of the above.I remember in 2004, Ted Leo's _Shake the Sheets_ had just come out. I drove to my polling station blaring _Little Dawn_. We were going to win back our government! Optimisim! Truth! Fuck. We lost.I still love _Little Dawn_. That song still makes me want to stab myself with a pe...
My heart's been bothering me for the past couple of weeks. Normally when I'm talking about my heart it's in non-physical terms but this time I'm talking muscle. Lately it's been doing some very weird acrobatics, lurching and palpitating, so I'm getting it checked out. Today I'm wearing a Holter monitor , which is an electronic device that you attach via electrodes to your chest and it...
As mentioned, New York Mag's all set up for the third installment of their too-much-fun Indie Rock Karaoke series: Andrew W.K. as host, with a full set a karaoke jam by Ted Leo RX. After losing it to host Michael Showalter alongside Paul Rudd, Craig Wedren, and random audience members singing with of Montreal as their backing band, we thought maybe the event peaked early. We took a pass on ...
Photographers at the RNC being maced. Photo by Matt Rourke of the APMan, Ted Leo is just great. Even when I don’t agree with his politics (in this case, I do), he’s always level-headed and intelligent about it. That’s why this is even more awesome. After reading reports about the arrests and flat-out whoopings handed [...]
Protesters didn't get treated all that diplomatically in St. Paul earlier this month, and what Ted saw was "so egregious that it couldn't be allowed to pass without comment." That commentary spans a quickly written four-track EP and some passionate, eloquent liner notes. Check 'em both at Touch and Go. Ted Leo for President.
What a great tour announcement. It looks like Ted Leo/Rx and Against Me! will be pooling their punk-inspired efforts and hitting the road together this fall. Not only that, but they'll be making a stop in Cincinnati! MP3: Ted Leo & the Pharmacists - Where Have All The Rude Boys Gone Ted Leo and the Pharmacists [...]~~
