All Music GuideOne cannot deny that there are a number of fine "classic" Tanya Tucker tracks on this dirt-cheap Disky compilation, but to call what is here The Very Best of Tanya Tucker is stretching the truth a bit, since "Would You Lay with Me (In a Field of Stone)," "TNT," and her 1990s hits are missing. Still, "Delta Dawn," her breakthrough smash, is here and so are some other stellar tunes such as "San Antonio Stroll," "My Arms Stay Open All Night," and a few others, including her excellent duet with Delbert McClinton entitled "Tell Me About It."
