All Music GuideWith a huge discography like Tangerine Dream's, there are countless methods and themes for repackaging the material. Some of them even make sense and have integrity. Cloudburst is a set of TD pieces that evoke similar responses. The track titles don't match, but the music does. This is music not for rainy days but for serious thunderstorms. Spanning mostly the '70s and '80s, these compositions are deep Berlin-school electronica with aquatic textures. TD presents abridged versions of the original tracks so the disc has some merit.
