I saw "The First Emperor":http://www.metoperafamily.org/metopera/season/production.aspx?id=8798 as part of the "Met at the Movies":http://www.metoperafamily.org/metopera/broadcast/hd_events.aspx, and although the production itself is still new and toddling, it's a refreshing entry into the scene.
