An Ear Worm is that song that you can't get out of your head, so much so, that its kind of annoying, no matter how much you like the song, its plays over and over again in your mind's ear, long after you stopped looping it over again in your favorite media player. This version of the Talking Heads song Artists Only, from SNL, is IMHO, the best version of this song - and has caused it (on only a couple of listens) to be one of the most prolific Ear Worms of all time for m... I was beginning to add a comment to drewfonts mog about cover songs, when I realized I had written so much that it should probably be a new mog entirely: There are some covers that I like better than the original. Here's a quick Top Ten of some of my favorites: 10) The Larry Williams classic "Slow Down" has been covered by a lot of artists including The Beatles. Earlier today, while listening to a radio announcer say "what's on T.V. tonight". I mistakenly thought this was a new group. He went on to announce who was on Leno, Conan, Kimmel, etc.., but my mind began reciting a Talking Head song "Found a Job". Bryne and crew were way ahead of reality T.V.(which I despise) when they penned this story-song. Lryics as follows...
