What could be more natural than a collaboration between two of the golden voices of Zaire - Kalle high and smoky, Tabu Ley deep and rich? After an ever-so-slightly shaky start, this CD stretches out into the slinky Afro-Caribo-Parisian groove that Kalle has embraced of late. If everything was done my way, there would be less synth here, but I'm very much mollified by the singing and the guitar work of Popolipo (from Zaiko Langa Langa F.D). Short but sweet -- hey, just play it twice!!!
