look at all the love we found

*Badfish* was fucking amazing. We got there just as the 2nd opening act was finishing up, which is not something I normally do (I like to get my money's worth, dammit), but we decided our time would be better spent getting some chemicals into our bodies before the show, so I guess we got there around 10PM. Once again, it was a super-late show at the Norva, and we didn't get out until around 1...

Not Enough Love to Go Around: Copyright Laws Prohibit Sublime's Former Members from Using Band Name
11 days ago

Well, it looked like the '90s were back and better than ever (depending on how you feel about the '90s) during Cypress Hill's Smoke Out Festival, where former Sublime bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh played with a new singer, Rome Ramirez, under their former moniker. Although they were "thrilled to reconnect with their fans around the world," the long arm of the law wasn't feeling as m...

Sublime is an amazing band with a troubled legacy, in addition to serving as the soundtrack to every mediocre frat boy bar band since 1997, there have also been heated legal battles regarding use of the name “Sublime.” This past year Sublime bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Floyd “Bud” Gaugh have been reuniting with, a new front-man, Rome Ramirez, referred to simply as “Rome.”This past

Theorum of a Societal Truth

For the past 7 days, I have been testing a newly formed theory which is as follows: 'when in any group of people between the ages of approx. 16-32, regardless of gender, social background etc, if one individual begins to sing a Sublime song the other members of said group will collectively know enough of the lyrics to get through the entire song." Thus far this theorum has held true, but I worr...
