Steve Winwood performing some of his classic 80s hits in '88 (with some other live clips from Letterman, etc). I've always loved these songs but had no idea he was formerly part of Spencer Davis Group, close friends with Jimi Hendrix and played with Eric Clapton (wikipedia strikes again). Anywho, great tunes...hard to not get up and dance. Enjoy the mashup.
So today i downloaded Steve Winwoods new album "Nine Lives" and i must say im nothing less then impressed.this mans voice seems to never age..its still as crisp as when he sang along with traffic or blind faith.

OK, next concert on my attempt for most concerts in one year is Steve Winwood this Friday. He will be #14 and that will be the one that beats my old record set in 1984 of 13 concerts. Not only am I stoked about that, and the other concerts to come, but STEVE WINWOOD!!! Alright, maybe some people just think of him as an 80s pop star, but he is in the same league as Robin Trower, baby! He's one of the original rockers from Traffic!
