Stereo Total's splice-and-dice pop-punk could only be the creation of a group whose members are Italian, French and German. There's Serge Gainsbourg bubblegum on "Moviestar" and "Supergirl"; Plastique Bertrand-style pop-punk in "LA, CA, USA"; a little Kraftwerk-lite/electronica/cafe jazz riffing, and even a typewriter melody whirring around the sonic blender. Cheeky covers of "Get Down Tonight" and Salt-n-Pepa's "Push It" seal the deal: this is fun rock with wild guitars.
